This paper introduces the factors affecting the tensile performance test of polyethylene sheath material. The experimental analysis is carried out from the aspects of whether the sample is flattened or not

tensile rate and dumbbell sample size

the results show that whether the sample is removed by cutting or not and tensile rate have a great influence on the test results

and the dumbbell sample size has little influence on the test results.
