摘要

提出了一种图像矢量量化的无损索引编码算法.该算法通过利用索引域中的相关性

对矢量量化器输出的索引图进行有效的编码

并且不引入额外的编码失真.该算法是在经典算法SOC (Search-Order Coding) 基础上的改进

实验结果表明

与经典SOC算法相比

文中算法实现了更好的压缩性能

且在码书越大的情况下

性能提升越为明显.

Abstract

This paper presents a lossless index coding algorithm.The algorithm uses the correlation in the index domain of the index map for effective coding.The proposed algorithm is an improved algorithm based on the SOC (Search-Order Coding) .Experimental results show that compared with the classical SOC algorithm

the proposed algorithm has a better compression performance.And the larger codebook we use

the better improvement it achieves.
