摘要

通信领域受控于两种截然不同的技术

Abstract

The communications landscape is dominated by two differing technologies: Ethernet in the LAN for internal business communications; and SONET/SDH in the WAN. In the enterprise landscape

where network reliability is paramount

Ethernet has been the pervasive data network protocol. Ethernet is simple

efficient and sufficiently reliable for the Local Area Network （LAN） environment. The article introduces Virtual Concatenation（VC） and Generic Framing Protocol（GFP）.
