This paper starts with the analysis of limitations that exist in 3G system at present and consequently summarizes the introduction and concept of 4G

following a separate brief introduction of the key new technologies possibly adopted and network structure change in the system. At last

the paper explains the relation of 4G telecommunications system to 3G system to be carried out soon in China and anticipates the prospect of 4G system in the future.
