摘要

本文简要介绍了弹性分组环（RPR）技术的出现背景、技术特点。该技术目前正在由IEEE 802.17工作组进行标准化

主要应用于城域网建设中。

Abstract

The background and main features of resilient packet ring technology is briefly introduced. RPR technology is being standardized under the IEEE 802.17 working group and is mainly applied in the construction of metropolitan area network.
