The oscillatory heat transfer characteristics of the heating surface tubes of a 600MW supercritical boiler under different load conditions during deep peak shaving were experimentally investigated under the operation mode of sliding pressure
load operation from 180 MW-600MW. According the experimental results
the effect of load conditions and oscillation of wall temperature was analyzed
and the Oscillatory amplitude ratio was evaluated for the safety and stability of the heating surface operation of supercritical boilers. The results show that as the peak load decreases
the overall flow rate and pressure of the working fluid inside the heating surface tube decrease
and the pulsation period and amplitude of the working fluid in the heating surface tube increase. The wall temperature pulsation period and amplitude of the heating surface tube change accordingly. When the critical load is reduced
the pulsation period and amplitude of the working fluid in the heating surface tube significantly increase
and the heat transfer deteriorates
leading to a significant increase in the wall temperature pulsation period and amplitude of the heating surface tube. There is pulsation over temperature in the heating surface tube. The critical load to the maximum output of the unit is the deep peak shaving interval. By optimizing the materials of key components that affect deep peak shaving or reducing the deviation of furnace flue gas load through operation optimization
operation
the boiler's deep peak shaving capability can be appropriately enhanced.
