A new method for measuring the fuel capture on the surface of flameholder by means of V-shaped capture gutters is proposed. The relationship between fuel capture rate and individual parameters has been analysed. An empirical formula has been established. In the calculation
the concept of considering the edge of fuel droplet groups as reference trajectoryhas been set up. The fuel capture rate on the surface of V-gutter flameholder has been calculated and the results are in good agreement with the experimental data.
