The new gasdynamics functions with variable specific heat proposed in this paper take Mach number as independent variable. The four existing methods

two kinds of conventional gasdynamics functions with variable specific heat and another kind of new gasdynamics functions with variable specific heat are compared with the presented method in solving thermo dynamic processes with variable specific heat. It is shown that the proposed new method is the most convenient.
