A Study of Object-Oriented Detailed Nonlinear Real-Time Performance Simulation for a Mixed-Flow Two-Spool Turbofan Engine with Afterburner
This report discusses the study of detailed nonlinear real time performance simulation for a two spool turbofan engine with afterburner.On the basis of the extensible
flexible
and reliable VC++ language
we can easily build a real time simulation program for a mixed flow two spool turbofan engine with afterburner on a PⅡ450 computer.The engine performance and engine component operation can be simulated accurately.The average time is 0 542 ms for a flow path calculation.It takes the model less than 25 ms to calculate an operating point.This is a general method and it can be used in modeling of other types of engines.The real time simulation model of an existing engine has been used successfully in IFFPC (Integrated Fire/Flight/Propulsion Control) research.
