Effect of air and fuel injection patterns in pilot zone on trapped-vortex combustor performance
The matching relationship between locations of air and fuel injection in cavities is one of the most important parameters of trapped-vortex combustor(TVC).Researches were conducted to evaluate seven groups of air and fuel parameters covering4 injection locations in cavities and 3 mixed air hole locations. The combustion performance test was performed under different injection temperatures and flow rates. So
the relationship among ignition performance
lean blow out(LBO) and efficiency
and 7 groups of air and fuel parameters was obtained
showing that the 7th parameter is an optimal parameter of air and fuel injection in cavities.
