A measuring tool of high precision and response time is required owing to rapid flame speed and complex structure of combustion flame. The combustion wave was measured in this paper by using photoelectric detector and ion-probe.Based on the high-frequency response pressure transducer
the feasibility and precision of photoelectric detector were validated by measuring the triggering sequence between pressure transducers
photoelectric detector and ion-probes as well as the duration of photoelectric detector and ion-probe signals. The results indicate that photoelectric detector is more suitable to measure the flame speed.
