A modified algorithm of Dynamic Matrix Control based on Genetic Algorithm is introduced in thispaper． According to the requirements of the control effects which DMC has implemented in the plant，we choose theproper order to find the optimal control parameters by applying the Genetic Algorithm in the population of chromo-some formed by control parameters in DMC，and finally calculate the real- time control variables applying the solu-tions of the optimal parameters that have gotten，in order to reduce the wasteful time by using the method of trialand error，and makes the better effect of predictive control．
