Test methods for shielding quality of cables can be classified into two sorts

" field method " and " transmission line method"

according to different concepts. As the typical methods of two sorts

"reverberation chamber" and " line injection" are analyzed and compared

in which shielding effectiveness and surface transfer impedance are selected to figure the cable shielding quality respectively. On the other hand

both methods have their own shortcomings and merits

which are very complementary.
