Abstract

A new transport mechanism of IPTV network is presented

which is use peer-to-peer technology to relief the pressure of the content servers. The principle of peer-to-peer technology is introduced first

then a comparison between peer-to-peer and multicast is made

at last DRM technology is introduced to enhance the security of the peer-to-peer system.
