Abstract

The optical virtual private network （OVPN） is a new value-added service that provided by Automatically switched optical network （ASON） . More Agility of OVPN would be achieved with the control plane of ASON. By analyzing the management scheme of OVPN

in this paper a management architecture of OVPN based on WBEM （web-based enterprise management） is proposed and the common information model is analyzed and designed also.
