介绍了新型材料光子晶体的基本原理和光学性质。由于二维光子晶体具有制备简单和性能优异的特点

所以光子晶体的很多应用都用二维光子晶体来实现。我们探讨了二维光子晶体在光通信中的应用。

Abstract

We introduced the basic theory and the main characteristics of a novel material called photonic crystal at the beginning of this paper. Due to the facility of 2D photonic crystal in fabrication and performance

it will be widely used in future. In this paper

we discussed the applications of 2D photonic crystal components in optical communication system.
