Abstract

High temperature superconducting cable achieve large current transmission and low loss with liquid nitrogen for refrigerant in a compact structure

which have the unique advantage like the conservation of resources

environmental protection

etc.In this paper the superconducting cable structure and the function are introduced

the current development situation of superconducting cable are summarized.Combined with national industrial policy

the deve -lopment opportunity of superconducting cable are elaborated.
