A kind of annular friction damper adapted to the blisk was designed to control the blade-disk coupling vibration. The first-order harmonic balance method and the macro-micro slip model were expanded to the cyclic symmetry model to simulate the vibration reduction of blisk with ring damper. Results of simulating realistic blisk showed that the annular friction damper had obvious effect on the 0-diameter 4th-order dangerous modal vibration of the blisk
and damping effect was related to the quality of the damper and the installation position. The amplitude was reduce by 75% at the selected location. The optimal damper design
including mass and installation design
was established when its structure was determined.
