Research on Integrated Control Method of Electric Vehicle Chassis
the control performance of vehicle chassis systems is highly demanded. Most existing researches have adopted the single objective control strategy of the partial chassis subsystem
which cannot realize the optimization of global vehicle performance. In this paper
taking the semi-vehicle chassis system of distributed drive electric vehicle as the research object
the chassis′ longitudinal
lateral and vertically integrated control is studied. Firstly
the vehicle system dynamics model is established. Secondly
to ensure high ride comfort
braking performance and lateral stability of the vehicle
based on the principle of hierarchical control
a chassis-integrated controller based on linear quadratic optimization control is designed
aiming at the minimum integral of the weighted quadratic sum of each subsystem performance index. Meanwhile
the analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the weighted coefficient of the controller
and the integrated
coordinated optimal control of multiple chassis systems was thus realized. Finally
based on the simulation software
the suspension
braking
steering subsystem controllers are built for comparative analysis. Simulation results indicate that the vehicle′s ride comfort
braking performance and lateral stability with the proposed integrated chassis control strategy are better than those of vehicles with partial subsystem control.
