Adaptive Optimization of Control Points for Forward Design of Screw Rotor Profile
In order to solve the difficulty of rotor profile design & development and the poor performance of rotor profile
and improve the efficiency of rotor profile design
the forward design of rotor profile is studied in this paper. The control points of rotor profile are solved with NURBS theory and least square method
the control points are adaptively optimized according to the comprehensive performance index and coordinate rotation method. The performance parameters of the original profile and the optimized profile are compared
and the fluid simulation of rotor before and after optimization is carried out. The results show that after adaptive optimization of control point
the length of contact line
the area of leakage triangle and the area utilization coefficient of the rotor profile are reduced
the outlet pressure of the twin-screw compressor is increased
and the sealing performance is improved
which indicates the adaptive optimization effect of control point.
