Equivalent Algorithm Study on Dynamic Characteristics of Hydraulic Damper
When the damper exhibits degraded performance or malfunctions
resulting in asymmetric or distorted indicator diagrams
the dynamic parameter calculation method specified in the hydraulic damper standard (EN 13802) may fail to meet the necessary conditions or have calculation deficiencies. To address these issues
three implementation approaches of an equivalent algorithm are proposed from an energy perspective
and the applicability of the algorithm is studied. The research results indicate that when calculating the normal indicator diagrams
the damping values obtained from the standard and improved calculation methods exhibit consistent trends and have minimal differences in the calculated results. When calculating abnormal indicator diagrams
the applicability conditions of the equivalent algorithm are broader
and the dynamic characteristics obtained from the calculation results better align with the actual performance of the damper. The research findings address the limitations of the standard algorithm and provide more accurate input parameters for subsequent dynamic simulations.
