摘要

本文讨论新世纪初期固定有线通信和无线移动通信两大类通信网的发展前景。首先说明固定有线通信的核心网向全光网络发展的动向，其次是说明无线移动通信由蜂窝网向宽带网发展的趋势。

Abstract

The paper attempts to describe the general outlook of fixed wired communication network and wireless mobile communication network at the start of 21 st century. For the fixed wireline communcation

it explains the eviution of core network toward all -optical network. For the wireless mobile communcation

it explains the development of cellular network toward wideband network.
