对各版本的主要特点做了较详细的介绍

在多方面比较标准版本的演进情况

并对后三代技术的发展作了预测。

Abstract

This paper summarizes the development process of 3GPP WCDMA standardization

gives a detail description to the characters of different versions of WCDMA specifications（?） analyses the evolution of WCDMA

and gives a estimation the development beyond 3G.
