With the rapid development of localization technology

the WLAN-based indoor localization becomes a new significant research concern.This paper proposes a probability distribution-aided indoor positioning algorithm based on affinity propagation clustering.Compared to the conventional indoor positioning algorithms

this paper first introduces the affinity propagation clustering to minimize the search space of reference points.Second

we use the probability distribution-aided algorithm to realize the accurate localization purpose.Affinity propagation clustering can effectively reduce the calculation cost of the probability distribution-aided localization algorithm

and thereby the systematic complexity can be effectively decreased.Experimental results show that the algorithm introduced in this paper not only performs better in accuracy

but realizes the fast and reliable localization.
