This paper proposes the idea of building intelligent mobile communication network with intelligent mobile base station in the air by the combination of wireless communication technology

unmanned aerial vehicle technology and intelligent control technology. In this paper

the components of the intelligent mobile communication network in the sky

such as the intelligent mobile base station

the base station hive

and the intelligent cloud platform

are discussed in detail. Further

the communication process is proposed

and the key technologies and the future research directions are discussed.
