摘要

5G无线网架构中3GPP标准化组织将BBU重构成CU和DU两个功能实体

在实际部署时两个功能实体可以映射到不同物理设备上

也可以映射到同一物理实体。采用不同的部署方式

网络建设成本和时延等方面会带来不同的结果。本文综合分析网络建设、维护、应用场景需求和技术演进等对网络结构的要求

提出了近期和远期CU/DU部署策略。

Abstract

In 5 G wireless network architecture

the 3 GPP has reconstructed the base station that divided BBU into two functional entities those are CU and DU. When we deploy the 5 G RAN

we can put the CU/DU in a same physical equipment or in two different physical equipments. The different ways that CU/DU was placed will get different coast

latency. We have analysed and compared the demands of the network building

maintenance

application scenarios

and technology evolution. Then we make the strategy of building CU/DU in recent and future.
