Abstract

With the coming of 5 G era

small cell will gradually gain popularity due to its fl exible networking and low construction cost. The protocol stack software is the core software part of the 5 G small cell. This paper discusses the protocol stack software related technologies of the 5 G small cell

introduces the 5 G network architecture

and analyzes the composition and software architecture of the protocol stack.
