this paper puts forward the necessity of the construction of middle platform for telecom operators. This paper summarizes and puts forward four disadvantages of traditional system of operators

that is

lack of independent research and development ability

repetitive function construction

high cost of cooperation

lack of business precipitation

and points out that four disadvantages can be avoided through the construction of middle platform. Taking 5 G as an example

this paper constructs a 5 G industry product system of "backstage elements + midrange capabilities + front-end innovation" for operators. At the same time

it analyzes the difficulties in the implementation of the capacity of middle platform

and puts forward some suggestions and strategies.
