Design and implementation of v BRAS forwarding layer architecture based on FPGA
In order to solve the defects of vBRAS and further reduce the cost
a new forwarding layer and its northbound interface are designed.The SDN open source switch and controller based on FPGA are used in the development
and the expermenter extension message in OpenFlow 1.3 protocol is customized.The current network test shows that the new forwarding layer can achieve the whole line speed forwarding of switch port under the condition of different number of users and traffic combination.The new forwarding layer design can enable vBRAS to carry large traffic services
get rid of the dependence on traditional bras
reduce the procurement cost of operators
and accelerate the realization of the evolution idea of centralized deployment and resource pooling construction of vBRAS.
