Effects of Ti Addition on Microstructure and Performance of CrTeCoNiTix High Entropy Alloys
Abstract:In order to explore the influence of the Ti element on the microstructure and mechanical properties of high entropy alloys(HEA)
using spark plasma sintering(SPS) method synthesize CrFeCoNiTix (x=0.2

XRD and SEM techniques to explore the microstructure of the alloy
and tested the hardness
compression strength and corrosion resistance. Research has shown that the high entropy of different content of Ti alloy have the simple organization form
face centered cubic is the main solid solution phase. With increasing Ti content
the hardness of HEA increases and the maximum hardness is 672.59HV; High entropy alloys compression strength also increases
the maximum value is 690.28MPa. The corrosion resistance of HEA decreased with increasing Ti content in H2SO4.
