we propose a low-complexity error resilient coding scheme for H. 264/AVC communications. For the conversational video

the proposed scheme combines the fast region-of-interest (ROI) segmentation and the long-term reference (LTR) frame coding in order to improve the perceptual quality of ROI areas.
