本文着重介绍了3GPP/3GPP2相关标准中规定的第三代移动通信鉴权和密钥协商机制

并与第二代移动通信系统中的鉴权和密钥协商机制进行比较

分析了各自的优缺点。

This paper describes the security mechanisms of 3G mobile telecommunication which specified in 3GPP/3GPP2 related specifications

and compares it with the security mechanisms in 2G mobile telecommunication system. At the same time

we analyze the advantage and disadvantage of the 2G and 3G security mechanisms respectively.
