This paper has expounded the method and characteristics for laying city communication pipeline by the technique of steel truss
which is along the built bridge and striding over river. It has also introduced some technical questions
during installation and manufacture of the steel truss must be paid attention to. Compare this technique with other striding over river way
the steel truss technique has many characteristics such as low cost of building
safety and stabilization
construction convenience and so on. The technique has already applied in several projects and has good result.
