摘要

GPRS技术10年来一直处于逐步改进过程中

其移动性能劣化严重是需要解决的主要问题之一。在此问题上

对终端TCP协议的改良一直是过去讨论的热点。实际上

现网GPRS设备在移动性管理协议实现上存在着不完善的地方

在数据传输通道重定向过程中存在下行数据丢失的风险

同时在GPRS网络内部又欠缺必要的使数据传输尽快恢复的机制

从而造成恢复过程缓慢而不可控。中国GPRS网络的建设特点使GPRS技术移动性管理设计和设备实现上的缺点显得更加突出。

Abstract

The feature of very low throughput and high latency when a test mobile is moving compared with stationary scenario

is a vital defect of GPRS technique

although it introduced an advanced architecture for mobile packet service data providing. The core of the problem is that GPRS doesn’t meet the TCP’s requirement

it doesn’t specify an effect way to help data transport recovery after data pipe redirection

while it brings in data block lost frequently in GPRS network. This is analyzed from signalling procedure.
