This paper will give the proof that HSDPA technique could not accomplish the deserved aim for the insufficient theoretical basis by simply employing available CDMA basic theory. It is designed to provide high rate data and voice services for multi-users simultaneously by an single carrier in the cellular
apparently
the down link traffic capacity required is much heavier than the capacity of mere voice service. Meanwhile
we introduce a meliorated HSDPA scheme by combining CDMA technique with TDMA
in which CDMA is used to distinguish voice and high data rate traffic channels
furthermore
CDMA and TDMA mode is employed in voice and high data rate traffic channels respectively. This method could improve the WCDMA standard technical defect of symmetric up/down link capacity to meet the requirement of wireless Internet service.
