With the increasing popularity of using WLAN for Internet access
the HCCA mechanism in IEEE 802.11e WLAN had received much more attention due to its high efficiency in handling real-time multimedia traffic.To achieve high bandwidth utilization and good end-to-end QoS in WLAN an algorithm of bandwidth allocation based on HCCA is proposed.Performance of the proposed algorithm was analyzed compared to the 802.11 PCF mechanism
