This paper elaborates that the immediate assignment had a influence on the paging messages by analyzing the traffic statistics data related the Base Transceiver Station （BTS） discarded paging messages from Nanning. Experimentation with revising MFRMS parameter had confirmed that decreasing the MFRMS multiframes parameter can make the BTS lower the risk of discarded paging messages greatly. Lastly

it indicates that something must be done to solve the problem of CCCH common control channel congestion fundamentally

such as tapping new sources of supply and reducing consumption. And then the problem that the BTS discard paging messages will be solved ultimately.
