The numerical calculation method of infrared radiant intensity of exhaust system of turbine engine without afterburning was studied.Due consideration was given to emission and reflection of solid wall

absorption and emission of water vapor

carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide in the gas.This method was used to calculate the infrared radiant intensity of a scaled model of turbofan exhaust system

and compare with the experimental results.These results show that

this method could help you calculate accurately the infrared radiant intensity of turbine engine at waveband of 35μm

showing an engineering practicability.
