Communications industry has become the emerging modern service industry closely related to the development of information technology

and the standardization of communications services is an important condition for healthy and orderly development of the communications industry.The basic definition of communication service standardization and its contents are provided from the view of basic definition of service standardization and the framework of communication service standard architecture is introduced in this paper.The status and progress of the domestic and international communication service standards is described briefly.The development trend and requirements of communication service standardization in China is also analyzed in the paper.Finally 5 comments for reference are given for promoting the work of communication service standardization in China.
