This paper describes a living example of mixed UWSN consisted of static and mobile nodes

between nodes using both optical communication and acoustic communication mixed networking

including the hardware

the networking infrastructure

and our experiments with data collection

and retrieval.This work demonstrates that the mixed UWSN are feasible

and that data mule provides an effective way to collect

and retrieve large volumes of data over long periods of time.
