周启航, 张超锋, 张宏兵. Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Centerless Grinding Machine with Joint Parts Considered[J]. Mechanical Science and Technology for Aerospace Engineering, 2025, 44(10): 1677-1685.
The grinding accuracy of centerless grinding machines is closely related to their dynamic characteristics
and the joint has a significant impact on the dynamic characteristics. However
up to now
the existing studies on dynamic characteristics of centerless grinding machines rarely considers the joint parts. Therefore
this article first theoretically calculates the stiffness of the fixed joint
ball screw joint and sliding guide rail joint
and establishes an accurate finite element model of the centerless grinder based on the joints. Afterwards
overall machine experiments and finite element modal analysis were conducted to verify the correctness of the joint stiffness calculation method and finite element model by comparing the first six modal parameters. On this basis
influences of the stiffness of the ball screw joint
the sliding guide joint
and the different component masses on dynamic characteristics were explored in detail. The study identified weak links in the entire machine and provided optimization suggestions. Subsequently
the impact of different joint stiffness and component masses on dynamic characteristics was revealed.
