Associated with the expanding of the mobile network

a large scale of base stations are implemented in network.Among the operator’s operating costs

the expenditures for the base station’s power consumption continue to increase

in which the power consumption of air condition in base station is in a high proportion.Increasing the working temperature of base station can effectively reduce power consumption

but the high temperature will bring bad influence to the battery performance which equipped in base station.This paper analyzes the performance of several battery

application in energy efficient base station

and provides some recommendations.
