A wireless body area network aims to provide real-time and ubiquitous body monitoring to perform autonomous early prediction
diagnostic
and tracking the response of the body to treatments
becoming a hotspot of research and application. As the importance of WBAN in daily life has become increasingly prominent. The standard IEEE 802.15.6 was published in 2012
which was specifically designed for WBAN. This article focuses on the resource allocation problem in and between WBAN
considering the heterogennity of WBAN and sensor node
analyzing the research status and the insufficient of resource allocation. Finally
several key issues of resource allocation problem in and between WBAN are discussed and future directions are pointed out.
