The wireless body area network is required by meas of the development of communication technology
the advancement of physiological sensing technology and the increasing human physiological information. WBAN aims to provide real-time and ubiquitous body monitoring to perform au-tonomous early prediction
diagnostic
and tracking the response of the body to treatments
becoming a hot spot of research and application. As the importance of WBAN in daily life has become increasingly prominent
the standard IEEE 802.15.6 was published in 2012
which was specifi cally designed for WBAN. This article focuses on the networking and management in WBAN
analyzing the research status and the insuffi cient of networking and management. Finally
several key issues of networking and management in WBAN are discussed and future directions are pointed out.
