This paper analyzed the estimation and trend of the power consumption of one mobile company transmission equipment in the current full service and LTE construction environment

pointed out that with the energysaving emission reduction transmission power increasing situation transmission equipment will be one of the key areas of energy-saving in the future. At the same time the equipment power consumption of different manufacturers were compared

with the result of deviation degree from each other for 33% to 220%. The great difference equipment energy consumption from different manufacturer implied that the prior equipment has greater energy-saving space. It is needed to cause industry attention and energy-saving technology research

at the present stage of transmission equipment energy-saving emission reduction and urgency

and having greater energy-saving space.
