With the rapid development of mobile internet services in recent years
handset internet service already became the key incremental business of China Mobile. These new data services also become the key factors which impacts end user’s experience
because different data service has different service quality and customer experience requirement. To support network optimization
it is required to setup a new hand-set internet service assessment framework with different service indicators. The old
pure average download rate cannot fully reflect the service status
and the indicators summarized based on benchmark rate can tell us more about how well the network supporting the satisfaction of customer’s needs of handset internet services. This article will introduce how to test & analysis benchmark rate of the main-stream data services in TD-SCDMA & LTE network.
