This paper introduces 5G experimental background and related technology. Through spectrum resource analysis
3.5 GHz is determined to be used as the main frequency in 5G experiment. By the analysis link budget of different channel
it is found that site requirements of 5G network building which uses 64T64 R Massive MIMO equipment is about the same as current 4G. Considering experimental area’s features and current resource allocation
5G continuous coverage tridimensional network planning is formed
and the effect will be estimated by simulation technology. On this basis
the effect of new technology Massive MIMO used in 5G experiment is validated
and it draws a conclusion that the cell capacity which uses 64T64 R equipm

times of 4G sites. It builds the foundation for popularization and application of new technology
and also sums up the experience of planning and construction for further 5G commercial use.
