5G-NR is a new access technology to meet a wide range of needs

including enhanced mobile bandwidth

ultra-reliable and low-latency communications. The new wireless access technology can support up to 100GHz wide frequency range. However

for high frequency communication above 6GHz

there are obvious path loss and penetration loss. One solution to this problem is to deploy large antenna arrays to achieve high beamforming gain. So it is essential to study multi-antenna scheme for new radio interface including enhanced Massive MIMO with different types of beamforming including analog/digital/hybrid beamforming.
