Load balancing is an important optimization method to improve the capacity of LTE network. Due to the volatility and imbalance of users in time
conventional manual optimization methods are difficult to meet the needs of network optimization. This paper proposes an automatic equalization method and system based on XGBoost user number prediction. Through XGBoost
the number of users in the LTE cell in the next 15 minutes is accurately predicted
and the number of users transferred is calculated according to the prediction result
so as to realize real-time dynamic adjustment of the equalization threshold. This method has achieved good results in the application process of the existing network.
