The central wavelength of the reflecting spectra in FiberBragg grating (FBG) varies with the measuring parameters of externalenvironment
which is the key point to confirm the reflecting peak informationof the FBG. The central wavelength of the reflecting spectra in FBG wasobtained by the standard Fabry-Perot transmission spectra based on the law between the dynamicscanning wavelength and scanning time of Distributed Feedback laser (DFB). TheGauss and Lorenz arithmetic function were used to investigate the Fabry-Perottransmission spectra and FBG reflecting spectra. The peak-detectionalgorithm was written and optimized by programming language based on theaccuracy of curve fitting. The results show that the Gauss fitting algorithm isbetter than Lorenz fitting algorithm for the DFB dynamic scanning wavelengthdemodulation system. The fitting degree is more than 97%
the resolution of themeasuring system is about 1 pm
